Summer is approaching and, it’s hard to deny that each of us is longing to lie down by the sea with a drink in hand and enjoy the view. But which drink to choose? Some of you prefer alcoholic drinks, others non-alcoholic..or maybe something exotic which you haven’t tried before? We’ve tried to satisfy everyone’s taste, so no matter what you like, we have something just for you. Also, we’ve included the recipes for each of the cocktails so you can enjoy them in the comfort of your home.
There is hardly a young person who hasn’t heard of this refreshing drink. When we drink mojito, it takes us to sunny Cuba and helps us relax. Almost all beach bars serve this cocktail, and if the time for your summer holiday hasn’t come yet, here’s the original recipe:
30 ml. lime juice
7 – 10 leaves mint (spearmint)
20 gr. white cane sugar
45 ml. white rum
60 ml. carbonated water
Measure 45 ml of white rum and pour into a tall glass, repeat the same with 30 ml freshly squeezed lime juice. Mix 20 grams of white cane sugar and mint leaves. Fill the glass with ice and carbonated water almost to the edge. Serve with a sprig of mint and 2 long straws.
Seeing the sun coming out of the horizon and draining into the water is probably one of the most beautiful views a man could ever see..This cocktail tries to recreate the colors of the rising sun in a single glass. Here is the recipe:
45 ml. tequila
90 ml. orange juic
20 ml. grenadine
Pour the tequila into a tall glass with ice then add the juice. Stir thoroughly. Then, gently add the grenadine by allowing it to flow slowly through the liquid to the bottom to achieve the “rising sun” effect.
For all those who prefer a non-alcoholic drink, we have something special just for you! The purpose of this cocktail is to give you the feeling of being on a Caribbean island and to cool you down during the hot summer day. The recipe for this tropical cocktail is as follows:
1 big mango
the juice of 2 oranges
the juice of 1 lemon
150 ml of maracuya juice (natural juice)
Soda or Champagne (optional)
Peel the mango and remove the stone. Put the pieces in a blender or a kitchen robot and mix them all together. Add the orange and lemon juice and then the natural juice of the maracuya. Stir. Serve the cocktail with sparkling water or champagne.
This great low calorie cocktail is perfect for all those people who are cautious about weight.It is easily prepared and tastes like heaven! Here’s how to prepare it yourself.
2/3 cups fresh raspberries (or frozen)
– 2 cups soda
– 2 fresh mint stemps
– 2-3 tablespoons Raspberry syrup
The last cocktail on our list has a strange, but exotic name that should always be part of our summer vacation. Even if you do not find it on the beach bars, we’ve provided an easy recipe for making it yourself.
50 gr of vodka
50 gr of strawberry juice
50 gr of mashed strawberries
1 drop of liquid vanilla
Slice of lemon
In a glass of ice pour the vodka, the strawberry juice, the mashed strawberries and finish with a drop of vanilla and a slice of lemon.
